This is one of the most common and yet difficult questions that our patients ask us usually during the consultation. The reality is that dental implants don’t have an expiry date, however we do believe that if the medical condition of the patient is stable, if the patient has good higiene and if the remaining teeth are healthy and the gum is healthy there is not reason for implants to fail. On a more scientific perspective we have nowadays research studies that show up to 35 years of dental implants still in service. These are ongoing studies and therefore we cannot say that dental implants will last just 35 years.
